At Total Footcare, we use the innovative ShoeFresh system to sterilise and dry your shoes, leaving them fresh, hygienic and ready to wear. The treatment consists of two steps. First, ozone technology eliminates fungi and bacteria. Then, the shoes are dried from the inside out, removing excess moisture and helping to prevent unpleasant odours.

Moisture, fungi and bacteria are the main causes of unpleasant-smelling shoes. By eliminating these and thoroughly drying your footwear, ShoeFresh helps keep your shoes fresh and hygienic. It's also ideal for sports shoes, which often become damp from wet playing fields and perspiration. Damp shoes create the perfect environment for fungi and bacteria to thrive. Around 12% of the Dutch population experiences athlete's foot or fungal toenails. Regular ShoeFresh treatments can help reduce the risk of reinfection from contaminated footwear. ShoeFresh isn't just suitable for shoes. Motorcycle helmets, motorcycle gloves, ski boots and even socks can also be hygienically treated.
